Aweber and local business

I am just try $1 trial for 1 month. I set up my 1st campaign for my local company. A few days later I participated in a huge trade show and put a opt-in box on my website (giving away a free product) and the response was huge. I now have a huge list.

When I was at this trade show, I saw alot of vendors using a bowl, the potential client would fill out a piece of paper and place it in the bowl.

What I did was, use a word document and write up my free contest details, included my website and also placed a QR code on the paper. Told everyone to go to my website, fill in the details, accept the permission link from Aweber and they are entered. It was a huge success.

Now that I have seen what building a list for a local business can do, I would like to try to add this as a service I can sell.

I am wondering, do any of you sell Aweber type services to local businesses?

I am not sure really what to charge for something like this and wondering if you think this service is worth it to sell?

Thanks.

Potentially A LOT, as each person is a lead to their business.

Have you reached out to your list since the trade show? Wondering what type of response you are getting from them.

Not yet, I gave them a deadline of 1 week after the trade show to sign up, then I will announce who won the free giveaway! I gave 1 week after because there were alot of vendors participating in the trade-show and I know it takes a few days or more to sort through all the papers.

I know this list is very powerful because everyone who came to this tradeshow was there for a specific reason = weddings.

I put this opt-in box on a new website so the website had very minimal traffic prior to the trade-show. As of today visits to the site are up 3,300% as per analytics.

There were at least a few hundred vendors there, only a few vendors used QR codes and I would say I was the only one using an opt-in box on my website. I walked around and saw all those papers in the fish bowls and started to think look at all these potential businesses for me to see email marketing to.

I just dont know how to price it?

Lead capture is extremely marketable to any local business. Check out the prospective company's website and if they don't use lead capture on their site you have a HOT lead.

Aweber is extremely user friendly and quite effective for building a list for your local clients not to mention providing a tool for broadcasting their ongoing promotions.

You can charge a set up fee in the 200 to 400 dollar range easily and a monthly recurring of $199 or so to manage the list, set up a simple series of follow up emails and broadcast a special offer once or twice a month.

This strategy is overlooked a lot but can be extremely effective for building a relationship with their customers and putting a "force field" around their business clientile if you will.

I would charge a set-up fee (say $250 to $500) and then a monthly fee to manage the lists and send messages a month on behalf of the client. The size of the monthly fee dependant on number of messages and who writes them.

I have no agenda but to help those in the same situation. This I feel will pay the bills.
