Try filming the phone interview on a mobile phone and or converting the file for mobile phones (android or iPhone).
They seem better designed to upload video.

What if you just split it into 5 files of 9Mb each.

I don't think people would mind download them individually.

The other option is to use Amazon S3 (http://aws.amazon.com/s3/) if you are willing to pay for a solution, although I think there is a free tier which lasts 12 months then you pay after that.

Do you have Dropbox? You can put it in your Public folder and link to it here. It's free for up to 2 GB.

My suggestion will be the same with theemperor, try to split the file into five audio files.

I did that and it took forever. Then I got concerned that people would never click on 5 "start" buttons...they'd fall off the process.

Luckily I got another solution going.

There is an easy way to increase your max upload size. It's really just a simple server configuration edit. In the root directory where your site exists, you should have a file called php.ini (You can access it via FTP or thru the file manager in cpanel.) If you open it in notepad, you can add these lines to it:

memory_limit = 200M
upload_max_filesize = 200M
post_max_size = 200M
file_uploads = on

These values will increase your upload size limit to 200MB. In wordpress you can verify if it worked by going to the media section and checking the maximum upload size displayed. It should now read 200MB instead of 10MB. You can of course make it whatever size you want to. If you don't find php.ini you can just open notepad, copy and paste these lines into it, then choose "save as", and save it as php.ini. Then simply upload it to the root directory on your file server. Since it's a server setting, it affects all CMS platforms like wordpress, joomla, etc. Lots easier than splitting files, zipping, etc. It's your server space, so use it!

AZ-thanks for your advice, but I'm not a techie. I Googled instructions like those. But I'm not comfortable carrying them out. Odds are I'd screw up my file and then I'd have a real problem.
