Outsourcing/reselling other peoples services

I know a lot of you use VA's to outsource, many in the Phillipines and some of you sell services that you outsource to other warriors. Then there's Odesk and others that can fill your orders for your clients, you being the intermediary.

I am interested to know more about the whole process, not sure how I better can explain it but will try to give you a couple of examples.

1. You find someone who is interested in a particular service and you tell them you can help them with that. You do a search on the internet and find a person on elance that can fullfill your order. How would you set that up? What would be the easiest way to pay the service provider? What would be the best way to get paid yourself? What about "transferring" the service from the provider to the client?

2. You place an ad on Craigslist, suggesting different services that you have to offer. Some of those ideas came from taking a look at fiverr and wanting to resell those services. Same questions applies to #2 as #1.

I do understand the basics of setting this whole thing up but I am not familiar with the intricasies.

Thanks for your input, Eva

The tact here is that you get in touch with cheap freelancers and offer services to some high paying buyers and just get their work done from those cheap freelancers and earn money. Simple as that !!!
I am also doing the same through my website in my sig.

A few details about the process in the 2 scenarios is what I was looking for. As I said, I do understand the basics but thanks for your reply anyway,

Reselling is practically the name of the game in the offline marketing industry. It's all about how much value you provide to your client as oppoesed to how much it costs you wholesale. You can use things like freshbooks and paypal to have the outsourcer invoice your client without intervention from you. It also depends on your business model. If you are selling SEO, I think the easiest thing to do would be to set up a good looking professional website, hire come outsourced cold callers, pick up 10 clients at 1k a month. I'm sure if you hired some cold callers this would be doable soon. As for fulfillment, you can use warriors for hire or other places like hubshout to handle all the technical stuff. This would just require that you managed your clients account. However if I were you I wouldn't go after websites or even SEO, I would tackle mobile marketing or google places. I prefer mobile marketing b/c all the leg work is already done for you if your client has a regular website. Plus the clients recognize the need for mobile websites and practiaclly no one has a mobile site.

Good sites to look for outsourcers for technical side would be: warrior forum warriors for hire, elance, senuke forums, odesk, guru.

Good sites for cold callers: onlinejobs.ph or craigslist in Manilla or big cities in India.

If you just have a small elite cold calling team you will be more than ready to make serious cash. The only thing is, do you want to have appointment setters and create yourself as a local market guy or a national branded solution. In this job market you can find some real good talent to work for you for very low pay or incentivized through commissions.

Hope that was a little more helpful. If not can you specify what else your looking for?
