Something I'm trying with google voice (Will this work)?

I just put in a fiver order for a bunch of google email address. I plan to use them for some of my rental websites so I can own the number plus it's free. I'll let you guys know how it goes, but does anyone think otherwise with such a method? Thoughts?

    I have number of google accounts and have google voice in several of them to use the way you plan to. There are some limitations over paid phone numbers but Google voice still has quite a few features for free.

    I would use HostedNumbers.com
    It's $8/month per number, and it's a local number.
    I have a Google Voice account. Some customers may not like the Google Voice service.
    "Please state your name.... Please hold while Google Voice tries to connect your call...."
