I need help with a Google Places issue

I have a client that seems to have 2 Google place pages. When I query his website url two pages are in the 3 pack for 2 different addresses. Both with his business name and a link to his website. One of the pages is owner verified. It happens to be the one with the correct address. I talked to my client about the pages and he has no idea how they got there and doesn't know the login info for any Google accounts that he has.

I'm really not sure what to do in this situation. Is there any procedure for contacting Google and getting this all straightened out that anybody is aware of.

You can create a new Google account, claim the correct listing, and have your client provide you with the verification PIN that he receives by either mail or phone call. If the other listing is incorrect and unclaimed, then report it to Google as a duplicate from the "Report an Issue" link on the listing. Include the URLs to both listings when reporting the issue.

Additionally you need to search for the incorrect address to try and find out which sites Google scraped the incorrect data from. Any that you find you need to try and clean that up by either claiming the listing or asking for it to be removed.

This will help prevent the inaccurate listing from getting scraped again at a later so Google doesn't create a listing for it again.
