What's up Warriors,

I'm about to take the plunge and start cold calling.

I'm going to be offering local companies and businesses mobile websites. I was just wondering how I would go about making a Demo site to show them?

To make the mobile website, I need information from their host, is there any other way that I can make a Demo for a website?

You make a mobile demo of your own site and show them that or offer one business it for Free to use as a case study.

DEMO <dot> YourWebsite <dot> com

Send them to a demo subdomain with Lorem Ipsum dummy text, or use the business name instead of DEMO and use that to be specific for the "Your site is made already" pitch.

Host webhosts allow unlimited subdomains.

yup. make a subfolder or I also made a mobile mockup in photoshop and just brought them a piece of paper, sent out flyers, or sent custom mobile mockup emails

I would do several sub-domains. When I first started cold calling a few
months back I was finding that more and more people were taking me
up on the demo.

A simple solution was to set up several sub-domains with a wordpress
install that I could modify as needed.

Can't speak to the Mobile Stuff, but as far as demos go I would set up
a few so you can just swap out information quickly and easily.
