Got 445% More Sales Without Any Extra Work, People Or Money...In 2 Weeks

One of the big profit leaks from a business is poor conversion of phone leads.

Imagine if you could easily double those conversions for your client,
which would mean doubling his sales and profits?

This is done by following a script for all people to use for first time callers.

There is no extra staff, no extra, advertising, no more money spent on anything.

Just a bit of training the telephone people to use a script.

Here's an example.

A large electrical company which had many service vans on the road here in New Zealand.

They were spending upwords of $80.000 per week on all kinds of advertising.

When asked what their phone to sales conversion rate was, the owner proudly said 70%

What he forgot to mention those were from him and mostly past customers,
not from the rest of the team dealing with first time callers.

So measurements were put in place over the next 2 weeks.

It turned out they were overall converting 11% of phone callers to jobs.

A phone script was put in place and the conversion jumped up to 49%,
or a 445% improvement!

What would happen is people would phone in and ask, "when can you send out an electrician out to do...", what would it cost to get...? and similar questions.

Once the question was answered they would hang up and be gone.

The phone script has been used in hundreds of different industries in many continents, so flat out works.

Here it is...

"Thank you for your call, just so that I can help you the best,
would it be OK to ask you a couple of questions..?

Now the receptionist has a track to run on which keeps her in control and jobs get booked.

A muffler shop argued that a business consultant could never increase sales just from the phone because he knew nothing about mufflers.

The consultant hoped on the phones on a Saturday morning and booked more jobs than anyone had every done, any day of the week.

He used this same script.

Once you get your clients more leads phoning in, get them to track the jobs they book from the phone calls coming in.

Then after a couple of weeks, get them to use that script ,
and measure their results.

Let em know that it has never failed to add more sales.

Once again, don't be a product pusher, be the profit driver to them.

    Thanks for sharing that with us. I have been involved in sales for the past 22 years and when it comes to inbound or outbound contact, a script is a must. Those that stick to a great script definitely get the sale.

    Its not the script that matters. Its the fact that the the employee is now the one starting off the conversation with questions.... that makes the difference.

        We got paid on performance not sales hype.

        since Ewenmack is gracious enough to share, I will do the same.

        Write a script with this:

        Carpet Cleaner – had customers buy more often (used EPA Study showing Carpets should be cleaned 2x's a year)



        They Re-set buying criteria to have customers Buy More Often by providing information on Environmental dangers for them and the kids and how competitors use the buying criteria of “ clean 1 room for free”. Increased revenue by almost 40% and they were successful with good revenues already.

        A call : thanks for calling/ you know how companies give you 1 free room just so they can get their foot in the door? / we will earn your business - go ahead and call the competitors and you will see for yourself (they don't call but you look good) / turns out according to the EPA and the dangers to your kids (most buyers are women in this niche) /
        let me give you a free information on this and ask a few Questions so I can help you best, whats your phone #, email, etc..,


        this was a company in the North East who was major player, but was able to increase revenue (they couldn't believe it!!!)

        Warning : the companies you go after have employees, salespeople, etc.., that have trouble with old habits, bad attitudes, etc..

        You Have to CONTROL the Script, have Compliance in place, and a key company figure to follow through.
