Reecommended wordpress tools to speed up production

Hi Guys, I'm currently doing the cold calls offering a free demo site to local businesses & after a couple of days I can already see that I could do with some warrior input to keep production at max, so ......

* Any recommended themes, easily customisable & good looking ?
* Any recommended graphics tools to build a library of headers etc (Playing with xheader at the mo, looking good so far) ?
* Any recommended WP cloning tools ?
* Any recommended procedures for quick setup (presumably a cloning tool could help if i make some base files with themes & plugins installed)

Basically any helpful advice to help me get to the point where I have a library of files & processes in place to whack up the demo sites with minimum fuss.

    I use a theme called Expand2Web, for one license it's $47 or you can get a multi site license for $247. Don & Thomas designed this theme specifically for the local business website so it's easy to optimize for all their needs.

    It also automatically creates a contact us page, a find us page, a home page with about 7 different choices for layout and you can customize sidebars 1, 2 & blog pages.

    The Expand2Web theme solves your header problem too if you don't mind some simple headers, it includes a small library of headers within the theme.

    I just read in one of the other threads that someone is using the free Duplicator plugin for their WP cloning tool and having great success with it.

      I really like the templates on Solostream (i have no affiliation whatsoever). They look very modern and professional and are relatively easy to customise.

      They're constantly developing new themes, as well as keeping they're old ones updated and I have found the customer service very reliable, they will do whatever they can to help.

    Hey Farky,
    I have not got to use my copy yet but i brought a wso a while back called "blogz bot" which you can use to have all your plug-ins, settings and themes installed in a few seconds.
    That should help with set-up times and there's a theme being sold by "Dylan Doyle" who also has a thread about how he has used it with the demo site model well worth checking out.

      Hey there

      I have the same business model, and use WPtwin to clone my websites. It's perfect, does everything you would want it to do. It's an exact copy, down to the finest setting. Haven't tried any others so don't know how to compare, but it works great for me.
