Google places has the street named wrong...ideas?

Working on Google places and SEO for a client, the client physical address is Townline Rd....the Google map shows it as Townline Ave.

I am wondering if this is causing some of the problems I see with this client showing up. Its a small town of maybe 3000 so they should show up on the first page before listings from the next town over start to show up, which is currently happening.

Am in the process of optimizing the website, google places listing and building citations, but based on what they already have it seems like they are being penalized already, and the name of the street is the only clue I have so far.

Is there actually a Townline Rd and a Townline Ave in the town ?

When you type in a google search for the business type and the suburb (eg mens wear in Cottesloe) what shows up?

If you have done everything right, ie: claimed and optimised (at least 5 photos and a couple of videos) their Google places page, got the citations going then there is no reason it shouldn't be showing up.

If you have done your bit then it's probably time to contact Google.

Take good care of those that you love.

I assume your client is in the USA. If so, go to List Your Business on Google Maps, Yahoo Local & More | GetListed.org and type the company name/zip into the box. Once your report comes up, click the "accuracy" tab on the left to make sure all your citations/web/etc accurately reflect the current address. The "assumed" address will be listed on the far right. Make sure it matches the ones you've been using.
