What plugins or feature do you guys recommend adding to a small business website beside the ones I've listed below. I want to add more value to the sites I'n creating for small business.

    1.) a QR code on your website is pointless
    2.) a mobile site on a desktop version of your site is pointless

    Don't lose your customer because you want to add more junk to the site.

    Slideshows, sliders, photo galleries, social media icons, twitter and FB stream is always good.

    A call to action. I realize it's not a widget, but most ppl forget to put that on their site. Putting a phone number is great, but saying "Call Us Today for a Quote" is better.

    Also, keep in mind that if you put too much on a website you are going to distract the visitor from the main goal which is to contact you.

      Agree with you 100%. I struggle with my off-line clients who want their sites to have all the fluff, bells and whistles and I tell them the more simple a site the better. The goal is to make it easy for a visitor to contact you and not to distract them.
