Google places reviews question 170212...

Hello warriors,

I have a client who has several reviews received in the mail box for his excellent work therefore would like to add them to his Google places listing.

I would like to know whether my client places listing would be affected if I add them myself or is there any other way to get it done so that it meets with T&Cs?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

You can set up a review station at the place of business and throw up a few a day.
You could also scan the reviews and show them under the photos

Thanks for your input. However, am I correct in assuming that it will not get picked up as reviews right?

According to Google's guidelines, reviews can only be posted by the person themselves, and should represent their personal experience. They also forbid to misrepresent your identity:

Removals of Google Places reviews - Places Help

"Don’t post reviews on behalf of others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with the place you are reviewing."

You can call/email the clients that sent testimonials via post and ask them to write them on the Google Places listing. Just provide them a link to the page.

Shorty's right, White hat all the way.

If his customers cared enough to write a letter I'm sure they'd be happy to help him out. How about you (or him) ask them. If they have email transcribe the letter in an email and send them the link and all they'd have to do is copy and paste their own words into google places.
