Don't Be Like This Loser

I can make a site and get it onto a server. I can make the basic stuff in a website: Links, images, and media. I can also change the appearance of a site in several ways, like what you see in this description. However, I can't make dynamic content as of yet. Dynamic means always changing, like a forum, or a video site. I am open to negotiating a price for my services.

Should you want to chat with me rather than send and email and wait for a reply I can on the chatbox which can be accessed here, but you first have to download a file to be able to use the chatbox, the file can be accessed here. I guarantee the file's you get from that are 100% safe. My username on the chatbox is The_pretzel2. You can refer to me as either Chris or Pretzel (or any variation of it like Pretz). It's possible I won't be paying attention to the chat.

Edit: this is a guy advertising on craigslist for his services. This is the exact ad.

    If you have a service we could use that will help us get more business get past our defenses and show us you are not like this guy. Be different and get our attention. If you have a good service we will listen if you get past our wall.

    I'm curious tho.. you have to wonder just how many people go thru all of these things & how many sales/referrals or whatever he's actually getting.

      He's in my area.. I know I'm arrogant but I kind of have craigslist locked down in my area, I don't think he's getting much from it, first time I've seen him post an ad. I figure, its good for business, if THAT is my competition, I'm pretty happy with the choices available for the people seeking help lol.

    David my random comparision was to point out other ways you didn't want to be like this guy.

    Yeah it was kind of random there so sorry for that. My point being that most of the people doing "offline" marketing for online services in a B2B environment are versions of this guy.

    And it is a key that people who are in that market need to remember. The guys on the other end of the monitor, phone, etc assume you are just another guy like this.

    That was my point that didn't come out very clear.

    While it may be good to be in competition with guys like this, the pure number of guys like this sours business owners and managers to your message so get past that by knowing it is there. No matter the media we on the other side will assume you are this guy or some version of him and not a true professional we want to work with.

      I thought the EXACT same thing as soon as I read it LOL

      Honestly, I have no idea what people are thinking... unless they're "attempting" to "think out of the box"... unfortunately this does it the wrong way. It sounds like he kinda sorta maybe wants to do business with you, but then again, maybe not, because he might not be by his chat... but if you're lucky, you could connect.

      The guy you brand as a "loser" today is at least someone who is trying something and could end up being a very successful savvy marketer in the long term.

        And to be frank with you guys, I'm quite tired of helping my competition for free, I do it enough on here. Quick to judge? I'm sure we all can appreciate and realize how bad this truly is. Instead of taking this thread that direction and suggesting I send him here, why don't you guys go through the trouble of downloading the hang man game chat and trolling on there in order to find him, but beware, he may not respond in chat.

    Unfortunately or fortunately for us, this is very common for most small business owners. When I teach my marketing seminars I grab a local paper and go through it in front of the attendees. I'm lucky to find one ad that is written correctly. I've even done this with USA today, it's amazing how much money is thrown away on poor marketing.
