What you think about my 1st squeeze page?

This is my first squeeze page for google places services. I used optimizepress theme to design. I will use this to offer google places packages to prospects through email.

So what you guys think?

    I would test the headlines a bit using adwords.

    My guess is you are not creating enough emotion with them.

    I would probably test "Because your potential customers are finding your competitor's websites...not yours!"

    There is a few more headline/subheadline issues but I will let you find out the problems. Read some of John Carlton's reports on how to get into the mind of a prospect and Perry Marshall's stuff on testing headlines/offers/call to actions quickly and cheaply.

    Also, there is no offer. What are you giving me for my opt-in?

    <EDIT> Also, on the FACT you should say something like "70% of searches on google are to find local businesses that have what a customer is looking for. Will they find you?" (someone can likely word this better but you get the difference)

        I think this is John's: Simple Writing System – John Carlton

        I know if you just do some searches on John Carlton you will find his free stuff. Get on his list too. It is one of only three I remain on.

        Perry's stuff can be found at Perry Marshall's Google AdWords Advertising & Pay Per Click Program . It is one of those few things that have been the most value to me.

        Also, you are not sizing something right on the top headline now. I think you tried to resize the image in the code and not the image itself. Looks terrible on FF.

    I don't like the page layout.

    You have the optin form below the fold, consider a two column layout with a smaller video window.

    I'd also suggest upgrading your animoto account so you can remove the branding from the video.

    You should also consider making the call to action in text was well. Some people aren't going to finish watching the video such as me. The music was to overbearing.

      Telll it like it is Russ! I can't even see the squeeze page at the moment. I just finished my first go around yesterday with OP, and I ain't sharin' it here!

      I hate all forms of web design, building web forms, anything to do with html, or the /wp-admin extension, I just cringe. I sat down all day yesterday just to learn me' me some stuff though.

    On the first one, I really like the headline. And I really hate the optin form.
