Hi guys,

I wrote a thread a little while ago about how I'm doing quite will with video marketing, and not being one to stand still I decided to take my skills on the road! (offline).

To be Honest it's easy to sell the video packages to people, it's just having the guts to go to local business and talk to them.. I find face to face works like a charm, but they of course are other methods, email, letter, telephone or of course you can hire someone else to do the work!.

What I offer is simple domation of local keywords for xxx amount

so I list all the client's businesses surrounding area's I then use them as the keyword for the title of the video I then use my software to make the videos I try and get 50-70 local towns and villages, my software auto makes copies of the videos and makes them unique.

I then upload the the videos using the keyword and town so *locksmiths woodford* as the title I then start with the keyword in the description box followed by the URL, next comes a long as possible description including the keyword (swapping them for each video)

As we all know google loves video, and for local keywords it's a breeze to get ranked on the front page, your offline clients will be amazed when you turn up 24 hours latter with results!

After landing a few clients you will find that word of mouth will bring you a ton of new clients,
easy money!.

To anyone that is thinking about using video offline...... DO IT!

Interesting post. Thank you for sharing.

It is very easy to get top rankings on google with youtube videos if you target long tail keyword phrases although those rankings do have a tendency to drop over time.

I wonder if you'd be kind enough to tell us a little more about what you're doing?

What kind of content do you have in the videos?

How does your software change that content?

To make say 50 videos how many unique videos would you make?

And are you only submitting them to youtube?

    Kindest regards,
    Andrew Cavanagh

    Hi there,
    thanks for your post,

The Content normally is a slide show, but i make sure the images are intresting, i include sound and also my software adds speech.

I use software i had made, the software makes each video unquie if i wanted 100 unquie videos it makes them in about 30 seconds and then it adds the keywords, discription and tags.

i submit to youtube and then to tubemogul

from one client i got 3 other sales via word of mouth! soon as they see there video ranked there out telling there friends about the service.

    Hi there,

I had the software made just for me, to be honest i don't think i will be selling it, at this point.

I dont think you NEED software to be able to sell video marketing to your offline clients to tell the truth.

It's very easy to get video's ranked for local keywords, even with no backlinks.

What happens when the videos begin to drop in rankings? How have you addressed this in your presentation, or are you having business owners subscribe to X number of videos syndicated each month for an ongoing video marketing campaign.

      Ongoing support costs money

Making a video and then uploading it to YouTube is a a great way to get free traffic to your offer. I posted a video review about a product in a particular niche that has nothing to do with internet marketing or working at home and made 2 sales so far.

Yes, I post it like almost a year ago but if you do a lot of them you can get a lot of great results.

Yes, to be honest with "local" keywords it's very easy to keep them ranked 1, a few backlinks is all that is needed and to be honest, with the work i have done the vidoes dont seem to really drop as such, as i say a few backlinks and a little work every now and then seems to cement them in place.

      Hey Dean,

Thanks for sharing your video thoughts.

I have a question. How do you compete against Google Places? Aren't all the keywords that have any amount of searches filled with Google Places listings? How do you provide value to a local client given this challenge?

Not being negative... just hoping for a light bulb moment to get around this challenge...

      Thanks!
