What name ? WonderBees.com or DoingJobs.com

Hello,

I need a little advice being a Scandinavian planning to open an international website.

The site is planed to advertice sparetime jobs an small jobs between individuals.

Regarding the naming.
In short term I believe that DoingJobs is better as I need less advertising since it tells directly what is about but in long term it will be just one of the ...jobs websites.

WonderBees.com is harder to advertise and need to explain what is about but when become a known brand you will have the avantage of the uniqness in relation with other jobs websites.

All comments from UK language natives are very wellcome :-)

    I agree that its is a better choice between the two. Since you are not in a place where English is the primary language there is a big chance that most people will not understand what domain #2 is all about.

    I would go with WonderBees if you want to be big.

    DoingJobs works well but you'll never be able able to Brand it. So it depends on what your plans are. To make a bit of money? Go for doingjobs. If you want to aim high build WonderBees.

    Buy both. send traffic to doingjobs.com at first and when they get there use the wonderbees brand.

      In short, I think you should go with "doingjobs" unless you plan on making this a BIG project.
      The uniqueness-factor of wonderbees would actually be a disadvantage in the early stages because people might be confused and not know what the site is about. However, later, when many people are familiar with your site, the uniqueness would help you because you would be more memorable and remarkable.

      So, smaller project -> doingjobs, and big project -> wonderbees.

    I was going to say what another one said.

    Build both with the exact same site. Run some traffic through and see what conversions look like, use analytics tracking features to track optins and things like that.

    In my opinion WonderBees is going to be better. Look at some of the job sites out there, Monster.com? Lots of websites have non-concrete names, and they end up doing great because the name builds a brand and is memorable. I'll remember WonderBees for a long time, even if you don't launch it. You ask me in a month what that other domain is, and I'll forget it, because it's run of the mill words we use in every day conversation.

      I agree with Brenden & Eddie Spangler.

      Do both and test to see which site produces the best results.

      You may choose to keep both in the end and have them set for different areas of the jobs market.

    Wonderbees sound magical and connotes that you work fast and busy like bees... DoingJobs denotes you guys are average people stuck on doing jobs..
