I am strongly considering someone to coach me in offline marketing, anyone have anyone to recommend or know of coaching experiences? I need someone that can walk me through measurable goals. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks F.Perry

Wanna get slapped with a self-promotion ban, amulektwo? Keep that up.

PM them in this case; it's safer.

What area of OM do you want to learn? There are a LOT of different areas.

Not really sure that is a part of my dilemma! I am good with people and have no fear of approaching them in cold call situations or on the phone. During the last 9 mos I have purchased well over a thousand dollars (probably closer to two) in WSO's. I am interested in offering clients a full range of offline benefits i.e. websites, SEO, reputation mgt, facebook customization and mgt, mobile mktg and social media marketing. For simplicitys sake, it would appear that building WPsites,GP optimization and reputation mgt would be a pretty good fit and something that I could accomplish with the help of a reliable outsourcer. I have already purchased many of the tools. I am unsure about what sort of campaign I would need to launch to make this happen in a massive way. I am in this to build a business that is measurable and predictable and thereby expandable. I can see that you are from NC, I also live in NC and will be attending the Warrior event there and hope to glean some ideas. Thanks for the response. F.A.

What if you follow the lead from the WSO.. If you bought WSO's from some one you think is an expert in this field follow them. I wont recommend you any one but a few people on this fourm stand out. Follow thier lead and start cold calling. You should be able to start a good business since you have no fears approaching people.

Like Seantreprenure said you should join a Mastermind group, look around this forum I think their are one or two mastermind groups here.

    All those things you mentioned...

    what do they do?

Your prospect isn't interested in them. Those are the solutions. What you want to find out is whether they have a problem.

All those things contribute to developing a steady stream of qualified inbound leads for your clients. That's what your prospect wants.

Sounds like you need more of a mastermind or accountability group. With all the WSOs that you've purchased knowledge shouldn't be the problem.

If you have skype, feel free to add me and I can talk you thought some stuff.

I would like to thank each of you for your input. Kanigani makes an excellent point, I will need to address this issue before I can address the solution.
DWolf, you and I both know that much of the information offered in WSO's is at best incomplete, in addition it is difficult to know whether the information is truly reliable, anyone can say they are experts. The one thing that purchasing so many WSO's has afforded me is to "connect the dots" and gain a greater overall understanding of what is involved in the business. I have already sold some services, and right now I am confident that I can accomplish what cold calling can do, but I am looking for information that will enable me to multiply my efforts. I am looking for the chemistry that will turn this from a job to a business that I can be working toward while I learn the basics. I am looking to the future. Does that make sense? Thanks. F.A.

My 2 cents worth would be to read through relevant posts and write down the WF names of the warriors who are offering sound advice from their experience.

After you have checked out a few posts and threads you will find there are 5 or 6 names that pop up on a regular basis so then you could click on their name and leave a message asking if they can recommend a mentor.

Have a look at their replies and check out the people they recommend and see if you can find one who you are comfortable with.

    Have fun.

    F,

To grow your business and any business profits,
there are 5 over-reaching principles and numbers
to know, understand and work on.

They become your plan, your roadmap.

It strips away the confusion and
    keeps you focused.

    Here are those 5...

    Leads...
    Conversion...
    Average dollar sale...
    Number of transactions per year...
    Margins

There are many, many tactics to improve and optimize
    each of those areas.

In a post I gave an example of a plumber optimizing his Yellow Pages ad.
It brought in 775% more leads than the previous year.

I posted the change in phone script a electrical service firm made,
converted 48% instead of 14% of the leads.

To grow, all 5 areas should be worked on together.

Knowing this, record results in those
    5 areas.

To improve on each of those 5 areas you continually test
new approaches to beat your existing approach.

Mostly those winning approaches come from outside your industry.

Test small so you are not putting yourself at risk.
Once the new approach beats your existing one,
roll it out on a bigger scale.

This is how small businesses grow big
    systematically, not by chance.

    Best,
    Ewen

you have the knowledge you need. You just need to put it in action. Start firing off emails, send mail, make phone calls, walk into businesses, hire ppl. Do one then another and so on till you get your first client!
