conversion rate of visits from simple flyers?

Any one know about the conversion rate of visits from simple flyers with a url in the ad?

I'm guessing less than 1% probably more like .1%

    Depends on your market...your offer...the copy...the design...

Throw a blizzard of general offer flyers all over the mall, and you'll probably get a lousy conversion rate.

Hand out flyers with an offer for students, designed to appeal to students, at a campus, and you'll probably get a good conversion rate.

Pick your spots and battles to try and tilt the game into your favor.

There are so many variables which go into conversions
that it's bit of a lottery.

A better question and number worth far more of your time to
watch is the number of sales that offer, that media used brought.

An example would be a same offer using an ad in the local paper
    and going to mail boxes.

The newspaper gets 4 sales and the mailbox drop gets zero sales.

Another example is the same mailbox drop has 2 separate offers
and one offer gets 4 sales and the other gets zero sales.

The right offer gets people to take action
and the right media gets the right people to see your right offer.

    Best,
    Ewen
