    OH man. I wish someone told me of this idea in my younger days.
    This is a GREAT way to hustle up a couple hundred bucks over the weekend.

    Great fundraiser project as well.
    You can probably go in for the $20 and upsell to $50 with that new wide peephole.
    Ive been watching too many movies where the guy looks out the peephole and gets a bullet in the eye, haha.

    As a licensed contractor in Michigan this often times leads into other work that I see while working on the customers home. Power washing the cement, cleaning the gutters.

    Some other ideas for the same concept but different service:

    1. I noticed your house number is old and faded and needs to be repainted on the curb.
    2. I noticed that your siding needs to be power washed.
    3. I noticed that gutters need to be cleaned.

    These types of jobs work better when you are local and they can check your references.

      I used to go door-to-door and sell home owners on getting new house numbers and I remember when I was a kid i used to do curb numbers, so those ideas do work.

    Since you like sharing your ideas (and I Iove reading them, I thought I'd share one with you in return...

    I'd be willing to bet if you did a good press release run locally for your ideas and ebooks, you'd catch the interest of more than a handful of stations, newspapers and magazines.

    There is no better time to get in the news (and generate extra traffic and income) for your money making ideas than in an economy that's in as bad of a slump as it is generally.

    I'd push it further, target as many countries going through tough financial times (i.e. UK, EU--Spain, Greece etc) where your ideas can be used by locals to drum up a few bucks daily... you'd have to research this, but I'd be willing to bet some reporter would love the hook and your ideas are quite ingeniously simple enough that many thousands if not millions of people can use them.

    Hey Martin, thatʻs a great idea that just about anyone can do.

    One thing people may want to consider adding to their service is spray painting the house number on the curb in front of the house. Get a milk carton carrier or something similar and fill it with black and white spray paint, cleaner, rags, throwaway gloves, masking tape and several packages stencils in the size your area uses.

    Practice on some cardboard first!
