GP review related...Can I give a premade email account to clients ?

I know its best to get reviews naturally. That aside, I have read that some people may have difficulty posting a review or do not have a gmail account (back to this in a second).

Here is what Im trying to accomplish along with natural reviews. I've read on the forums that in order to get 5 gold stars you have to have 4-5 gmail account user give a positive review in GP. I honestly don't know if this is true. But I would like the Gold stars for my client.

I also read here on the forums that some people just dont have a gmail account or know how to post a review. I thought, what if i provided them a premade gmail account with instructions and a gift as a thanks for their time. Is it ok for me to do this ? (make an account for them to take and use ?) Does it matter if I made all of them (same IP) and they posted from their computer (different IP) ?

I would just like to speed up the review process a little to show my client that I can do something. I am new to IM and he is my first client (dentist).

Any ideas or comments, questions are welcome. Thanks for the help !

Yes google tracks the IP the account was made with. If you sign into your email account at the bottom you can click on details and see how it logs the last 10 or so IP addresses you have used to log into the account.

My strategy is to let reviews come naturally by leaving a link to the places page in the email receipt that my clients email out. No shady reviews. When you're dealing with someone else's business you have to remember it's how they make a living, it's how they put food on the table, and you can't mess with that.

Anyway, to get the stars you have to have 5 reviews of any quality on the Google Places account. The stars will reflect the average rating.

ah! thank you for the suggestion of adding a link to the GP listing in an email.
