I need a bit of Flippa info. The site, not the dolphin.

I've got a couple of sites and a few domains I want to sell on Flippa. A while back I thought I would give adsense a whirl as a money making tool. With all do respect to those who make a living this way, I find it about as interesting as watching grass grow.

Does anyone here know if there's some good info, perhaps a blog, maybe a WSO (gulp) that has some insight for selling on Flippa? Does the info at Flippa have pretty much all I need?

Last question, for those of you who have sold on Flippa, since I realized from the get go that I wasn't going to pursue this, I never did much with these sites and have no stats. Is this going to be big problem?

Lastly, I want to make it clear that this is not a covert attempt to get anyone here to buy these. Please don't PM me for details about the site. I'm only looking for some help or information about selling them on Flippa.

    I have nothing a value to add here, I have no clue about flippa, or any WSOs around. I am sure there is some good information somewhere that someone knows and will get back to you sometimes soon..

    I just felt compelled to say, rather ask, isn't it sad that we* have to make this disclaimer? Maybe just make it your signature.

    I too would be interested in an answer to your question though, as I have some sites in seemingly the same situation.

      @Ryan - Yes it is pretty sad that I have to make that disclaimer. I would have to believe at this point most of the regulars here know me well enough that it's really not necessary.

      However, I've learned through trial by fire that it's best not to take anything for granted. I also wanted to discourage anyone from posting their wso on this thread.

      in the main forum.

        I tried to sell my first site on flippa and the listing expired last week with no offers, not even an E-mail with any questions. The site was an Amazon site but had very little traffic. Right before the listing was about to expire. Flippa sends an e-mail to get you to boost your listing for an additional fee. When the sale ended they ask if you want to pay another inital listing fee for another month.

        My only advice is post a question about it in the Main Forum. Some one over there you will help. Or you could always try the Classified's here in this forum. Complete Web Sites For Sale!

          There are things you need to know before getting into the business of flipping websites. Amazon based sites aren't exactly as in demand as they were before in my opinion.

          If you have an exact match domain, you have added value. If you have any rankings, that is an added bonus, if you have a site that converts well, then great.

          I ran a deal a while ago pitching a few people who wanted to have different streams of income. A lot of them would pay about $10,000 for 100 websites, plus I would get 25% of the income.. hosting would come out of that 25%.

          Most sites would end up doing $1/day and sometimes I had a few nuggets that did really well. We'd cut the lower earners and sell them on flippa or elsewhere, and we'd usually get $200-300 for the scum sites.

          Website flipping is very easy... If you're building an empire of adsense, affiliate, amazon or clickbank type websites you can easily make a lot of money without really having to maintain. The low earners, you flip, the good earners you keep. Simple as that.

              Now I'm trying to determine if I've got the time to devote to learning an adsense strategy. I know there's a million WSO's out there but like most, I'm sure it's mostly garbage.

              Hope you don't mind if I request some help again, but if anyone knows of a worthwhile blueprint, I'd appreciate a PM. I don't think anyone wants to see this thread blow up with WSO self-promotion...I know I don't.

                I'll try to put something together for ya today and post it in here. I have to finish up a couple projects today but I'll see what I can do. Might not be as complete as some others but it will cover the gist of things which is really all you will need.

    Do NOT waste your time with any WSOs on the subject, I never have seen any that even remotely caught my attention but then again I rarely ever look.

    PM me your domains and whatever info you have, I might just buy from you instead of you needing to worry about all that. I'm always looking to expand my empire lol. I know that isn't your goal with this, but if it interests me, I'll buy. I'd really hate for you to have to go on flippa with some really good stuff when I could have had first dibs.

    Anyway, all the info you really need is already on flippa, and to answer your last question... yeah it kind of is a problem. Like I said before, PM me the info, I can give you an idea of what you can get with no stats on flippa, and what you can get with a few things. There are a couple things that will really increase the value even without stats.
