Has anyone here used Zbiddy?

In truth.. you can buy an ipad for $23 BUT... a big but... that site i reckon is a penny auction site. Which means you have to buy bid packs which can cost $$$.

It's similar to an auction site but everytime someone bids, the auction only goes up a penny and the auction time resets it self for an extra 2 or 3 minutes.

So you could end up buying 100 bids for $100 and spending all those bids on one auction and still end up losing out.

It's really a pot luck auction site.

Thank you for clarifying that. I figured that there was some sort of evil plan in store or it would be blasted on the Nightly News (as if I've watched TV within the past four years - lol). Also, maybe the Admins friends or friends of family, etc. get access to all the really good deals.

You see the whole idea is to put up the "Apple ipad " for auction at a $0.01 starting bid.

You buy bid packs at a cost of $100 for 50 bids (i'm not sure on the prices, but it's something like that)

Now, each auction will have a time limit and a certain number of bids to reach before the timer actually drops. So they tend to make double or even triple the amount of the original cost of the product without the bidder even knowing.

if the auction finishes at $20 for the Ipad that would mean there was 2000 bids if the auction only increases at $0.01 per bid made. If you or any other bidder was to buy bids at $2 each ($100 for 50 bids), that would mean that auction site had just made $4,000 from just one ipad auction.

I'm sure you'll get the jist of what i mean.

Thanks - Steve! I was wondering how the "non-site owners" (namely me or Warriors) could make money off of these Penney Auction sites. For instance, E-Bay makes billions (?), but they wouldn't make so much if it weren't for the marketers. Marketers are not there for their health. Ideas??

Also - which is better: Qbids or Zbiddy? I've looked at them both & they appear to be clones.
I love how they both have a strange letter in them (Q & Z).

Zbiddy is a penny auction site where registration if free and you have to purchase a bid package to start with bidding. The winner will be the highest bidder when the clock struck 0. Every bid will increase the cost of them by 1 cent and will add few seconds to the counter/clock. It is to give chance to other bidders. The site earns money by selling the bid packages to their users. If your luck is good then it is possible that once can win items with free bids or few paid bids. Quibids and Zbiddy both are having good rankings and traffic. I think both are good competitors. I am familiar with Zbiddy as I tried playing on this site.

If you like gambling, then I suggest using these penny auction sites. If you are like any other human being, you will go to the store and buy it for retail price.

Yes - it's a gamble in most cases. If the site is popular, you'll stay up all night trying to bid on something you want, only to find there's someone in a cabin in Finland with nothing better to do than bid against you and raise the price.
