Anyone use iThemes builder? Question...

I have a decent amount of experience doing wordpress sites, but I've been looking for something more flexible for client websites, rather than finding a specific theme for each application. I really like what I've seen from ithemes builder, and I've heard a lot of positive feedback about it as well.

Hopefully someone familiar with builder can help me out. My question is - Can I get most of the fuctionality from the $80 foundation package? It looks like the biggest difference is that the foundation package doesn't come with all the child themes. But from what I understand, you can use the style manager and other tools to tweak just about anything. Can someone confirm this? I'm trying to avoid spending the extra $117 on the developer package if I can.

Any other feedback or comments anyone has on ithemes builder would also be appreciated.

Thanks!
Ben

Ben, the child themes in Builder are not necessary to have. You can do with just the core Builder Theme.

Fendi is right. Just ensure that you are using a child theme even if it is blank (i.e., nothing in style.css other than just the comment declaration that it is a child theme of Builder)

BuilderChild-Default or BuilderChild-Foundation-Blank is a great child theme to start with especially if you are going to tweak it so it looks like an existing design/site.

Feel free to post any other questions you may have here or in our pre-sales forum.

I work for iThemes and am in charge of support for Builder.
