Hello, Everyone

I finally got the nerve to start cold calling my contacts. I used Jason Kanigan's
1 on 1 WSO PLUS the KabanaSoft's Places Scout Software. All I have to say is that it works.

Jason's technique of passing the gatekeeper works!

The Places Scout Software allows me to qualify my contacts by researching what they are doing with their customer reviews and Google Places ranking.

Now that my freelance gigs are now slowing down, I can concentrate on getting clients using cold calling. This is just an incredible combination for finding leads (Places Scout) AND the 1 on 1 Cold Calling WSO.

These WSOs really do work and they are really worth their $$ spent. You will definitely get your money back in sales.

I'll keep you posted as I journey along in the cold calling world...

I just started with maybe 3 calls today. It's a baby step for me. I'll go full bore next week.

I'm selling online 90 second videos for small businesses for their website. I've been a professional video producer for about 5 years now and I want to expand my business to help out the small business owner.

How do you know it works if you haven't made any sales yet? Not to take away anything from Jason because he's great and advice he gives is very good. BUT, there is a difference between believing something works, and actually experiencing that it works! I want you to experience it, not just believe it can.

Good luck. You took the first REAL step... even if it IS just 3 calls. It takes months for some people just to get the courage to call once.

    Thanks, iAmNameLess.

Jason's 1 on 1 has boosted my confidence in cold calling so I can proceed and use the information that is presented in front of me. I'm posting here so I can keep my accountability intact to keep my cold calling activities consistent. I would love to share my success experiences here when I finally get my first closed sale.

Give us a bit more detail. Who did you call? What did you say? What % of calls turned into meetings? Etc.

I've never done cold calls so I had ended up with three calls just to get started. I put this off too long and if I didn't call, I wouldn't be posting here.

In fact, I'm approaching this process on a step by step basis or should I say one baby step at a time. In order to practice each step, I assign a bunch of calls practicing one goal at a time.

The goal for this time is to get passed the gatekeeper. Nothing more.

When I got to a gatekeeper, I asked them as if I had a big problem. I asked, "Can you help me?" I really don't know who to ask this. I'm Jaime and I help small biz owners get more customers into your door". Can you let me know who I can speak with? They re-direct me to whoever is in charge.

For me, this is a huge step like climbing Mount Everest. For others, you are probably saying "No big deal".

This is as far as I got because they weren't interested...yet.

No sales or closing as of now.

Places Scout IS pretty awesome. The guy behind it is a friendly human being, too. A lot of the updates have come from client suggestions.

What is it you plan to do when you get past the gatekeeper?

Frankly I have a lot of opinions about this particular "system" but I will refrain from saying anything because I believe there is pure value in anything that motivated you to pick up the phone.

Are you referring to Places Scout? Or Jason Kanigans cold Call script?
