[Method] Flyers can make you easy cash!

I thought I'd share something with you guys that I have been doing recently here in the UK.

I'm not too sure if this is a well known method or not. But it's been working nicely for me. This may not work in the US due to gambling laws... but I'm sure you can find your own spin on this.

Ok so I signed up as an affiliate for two online bingo sites. I went for the revshare option. If you look around you can find 35-40% revshare easy.

I then created two domains and set up a redirect on each of the bingo sites through my affiliate link.

I then got some double sided flyers printed. On each side was one of my domains along with information about an attention grabbing offer from each site (like free £10 no deposit play for example). Make sure the flyers are very cheap to keep your margin, low quality paper and black and white ink will do.

I then started delivering them to low income housing (more likely gamblers!)

= RESULTS!

You do have to deliver a lot as conversion ratios aren't great. So you will have to get thousands of flyers and this means paying some kids to help deliver them.

But because you are getting revshare on total liftetime earnings from any hits you get, just a few weeks work delivering some flyers can result in continuous passive income for years! Especially if you hit some gambling addicts.

    I believe that yes this would be illegal in the US but a great idea.

    Can people think of US legal versions? Does Aaron's or rent-a-center have an offer we could use? How about home security in better neighborhoods? This outside the box like this if you need cash now.

      For US guys looking to put a spin on this. I think you need to look for two things.

      First and most importantly an affiliate program that offers lifetime revshare. This is really important so that you dont spend the rest of your life handing out flyers, only getting paid once for every conversion!

      Secondly you need to think about how you can target your flyering. You can target very precisely geograhpically, and you can target very precisely on household income, options that aren't often available online. How can you use this to your advantage?

      There must be something out there that fits this criteria. Any ideas?

        No, there is nothing illegal about delivering flyers....
        However, in most states, online gambling is illegal... And I believe that is what they were getting at.
        There are some online gambling sites that are allowed in the US, but you have to check with your state laws to make sure it is legal in your state.
        For example, it's illegal in Michigan, where I am.

        So, I couldn't go out and market online gambling like the OP did..
        I would have to market a different product/service.

          Most states have never prosecuted anyone for online gambling online, it's an un-enforced law.

          Besides, if you actually READ THE LAW in your state, you will see that the laws against online gambling specifically refer to PLACING BETS, not activities such as playing poker or blackjack.

          EITHER WAY you could STILL do this method even if it's illegal in most states, because most people will gamble online anyway, never get in trouble, and never realize it "may" be illegal.

          I am not trying to pick a fight, just want people to know this method WILL WORK no matter where you live!!!

    I'll be trying this soon with payday loans but coming at if from a way different angle. s1ngular1ty, are you getting results on this? Very curious if this can give a ROI or not.

    Btw, your statement regarding low-income and gambling is partially true but would be more accurate with middle-class. Millionaires are rarely gamblers according to the book Millionaire Mind. I lived in vegas for 13 years of my life and saw many a house-wife/middle class guy put in their families house into slots.

      Yeh I am doing well out of it. My big tip is to make sure you keep the price of the flyers low, I made a mistake initally producing glossy colour flyers thinking that it would attract more attention. Problem was the flyers ended up being so expensive it was hard to get a decent ROI.

      I have since discovered that so long as the headline offer is good, the quality of the flyers doesnt seem to make too much difference to conversions. Also, order as many flyers as you can, I'm talking 10,000 plus, gives you much more bargaining power with the printers.

      Interesting, I do ocassionaly mix it up and hit some middle class estates. But I couldnt say if they give a better ROI or not. I always just assumed working class people gamble more. Looks like I need to work on my targeting!

      I'll try making different new URLs with different subid links attached and then assign them to hit specific income housing and then post my results.

      Funny you should mention this but I did try something very similiar. I made a load of flyers as described in the OP with free sports bets and then stood outside the soccer stadium on match day and handed them out. Can easliy hand out hundreds in no time. I guess you could try this with any sporting venue.

      You could even put a further spin on this by making flyers with offers that would appeal to music fans, then stand outside a concert and hand them out!

      You wouldn't even need to find revshare offers because you would spend such a relatively short amount of time handing them out. A couple of hours work flyering could really generate some income if you find the right offer.

    I'm doing something similar here in California.. with mother's day only a month away it's time for the mom's in my area to start thinking gifts.. and woman love shoes so I'm marketing a shoe membership type site...I think it will be profitable.. The gambling idea is really smart. I'm glad it worked for you!

    To the OP: You should try this with football(soccer) mate, I know England goes crazy about it and every bettor will be spending a lot of money once they are hooked up. Check out bet365 and other similar sites. I wish I was in the UK, this could easily make you thousands per month.

      A poor person that wants to improve their situation would not respond to a gambling offer anyway, that is the reality of the situation.

      Id rather help them too, just for the records, but I would get better results and save time by just banging my head on the wall BEFORE leaving the house.

        That is what makes them a good target for something like this, as long as it is legal in the area. Poor people spend their money. Trying to get some rich people to open their wallet can be tough. You need a crow bar to get some of them open.

    There is some good value in this post, as long as you are willing to overlook the gambling part.

    There are so many different products and services that can be sold this way.

    It is something to test (can use adwords of facebook ads pretty fast). You can also look at profiles on popular gaming sites on alexa to get an idea the ideal customer.

        You can use Adwords to test ideas and keywords. Also headlines, offers, call to action and scarcity items. Run two ads 30 clicks each and see which wins. Refine it and test again. It is a way to test out flyers REALLY fast and you can even target your city to make sure it hits the correct market. I do this all the time for store owners looking to do flyers and place expensive signs (actually an adwords ad transfers to a sign REALLY well).

      Did you try it with lifetime revshare offers? I can see how it would be hard to make much profit with normal offers, but with lifetime revshare it does work.

    If you dont mind, where are you finding rev share UK affiliate schemes.
    I have done one off like this before, but didnt make a lot.

    However i have distribution networks in place now, so worth another look.

      Nice idea! I think this will work very well handing out flyers with QR codes for gambling offers outside soccer stadiums on match day. Should be a profitable few hours work!

    Mostly free things, entertainment and foods stuff able to promote well in flyers.
    It not only cheap cost for flyer printing and distribution , it easy to deliver to mass of people in the short time. You might figure to place big QR code as well while i believe lot of them would like to directly scan and claim the free chip and directly gamble on your site with phone.

      I tried a few different bingo programs. Had most success doing the 888 ladies bingo affiliate program and the bingo liner one.

      I do still get regular earnings from this method, that is the beauty of lifetime revshare, but I have sinced found a much easier method that requires no walking!

      I released my new method as a WSO so PM me know if you want more info.

      Anyway, this means I don't really know what are the best bingo revshare programs atm. But you should look for ones with a good no deposit offer to attract subscribers to the site and combine that with a high revshare.

      For example I usually looked for around £20 no deposit, free play bingo offers, that offered me at least 30% lifetime revshare as an affiliate.

    US laws on flyers are already very tough. We do a lot of flyer marketing/ mailers for our financial niche programs, but they are not that beneficial anymore. That is how the conversions show us. It is possible that too many competitors started doing it or maybe they have lost the edge!

    Flyer distribution has the highest conversion of any other offline marketing technique. I have used flyers for 10 years for over 5 companies. We normally see a 5% conversion and charge $380.00 for 1000 flyers to be designed, printed, and delivered.

    We target based on what people are selling and try to keep nice expensive neighborhoods so it's much easier for them to make a purchase.

    I had a weight loss supplement that was $49.99 per sale

    I had my guys pass out 5000 flyers and got a 1% conversion.. 5 is for local business and normally 2-3% for websites.

    5000 flyers x 1% = 50 sales

    50 sales x $50.00 = $2500.00

    take profit $2500.00 and subtract cost of flyer design and distribution.

    $2500.00- $529.00 = $ 1,971 in profit!! I have a great business and keep track of my crew with Google maps. They highlight the areas the visit on google maps and I check up at the end of the day.
