The Offline Form Needs More Love...Here's An Idea For Local Business Website Designers

Seems like everyones too busy working, there HAS to be more people out there like me that have so few clients that they are looking for stuff to do!?

So, I thought I'd drop a tip to those of you who are offering to build websites for local business owners, perhaps inaddition to offering SEO/PPC management etc...

Now, many of you have probably come across the problem of your clients not submitting photos of their business in a very timely manner. Although my solution isn't very creative and may not be practical for some, it has worked WONDERS for me as a new startup...

Offer the owner to take the photos yourself, for FREE! Now, obviously this might seem like unneccessary work, but it does many things :

- It saves the owner the headache of organising it themselves.
- It saves you having to wait weeks for the stupid photos to get sent through, allowing you to get paid faster.
- It gives you more 'face time' with clients to build trust and relationships.
- It usually doesn't take long, and isn't difficult as long as the owner isn't too picky (and if they are, it just motivates them to get professional photography organised faster when you have your crap photos all over their website).
- You can simply use your smartphone to take pictures that are good enough for most websites (save actual photographers websites).

Anyway, I have done this myself, and it has made my clients VERY happy. Goodwill is always useful for a growing business.
