Selling Mobile Websites To Churches?

I have been thinking of selling Mobile websites to churches! Do you all think it would be a good niche to go after? I cant imagine them being as rude on the phone as some business owners! lol Your thoughts? ~Daryn

Why not go for karma (and major exposure) by doing them for free......with a link to your mobile business on the bottom.

It may be a good idea, though you will never know if you do not try. Pick up the phone and see how it does.

There's a couple of decent looking WSO's about converting existing sites.
      Looks pretty simple.....

My twelve year old (going on twenty four) daughter wants to do them for me....and I'm going to let her this summer.

Even if you pay for them, try a few as a test. You might bring in a few businesses that also need additional services.

Even one good recurring customer account per church could add up......

There's only a bazillion churches out there that have websites....

"selling" them a site? I'd think you'd want to rethink that and come up with some value that you would bring to a church. They don't want to be sold a site. They want to better connect with their members, to reach new members, ways of fund raising, community outreach etc....A big difference in approach. This goes for any other business too. Don't "sell" them any tool, bring them value and results.

It's a viable market for sure. The above is important and so is streaming their services (live or from archives).

I've been working this field, myself.

One way I tell them it benefits their flock GREATLY is to be able to send out SMS's to their members for emergency prayer requests (i.e. someone goes to ER or an accident, someone sick, etc)

GREAT way to get their attention.
