script for appointment setters?

I posted an ad on CL for appointment setters about an hour ago. I'm sure these people won't be able to explain too well what it is that we do. What would you suggest as a basic but effective script for Google Places/SEO/PPC? I was thinking about luring people on for $20 to get on the first page of Google($100 vouchers plan) but wasn't sure if that would be the best angle to take. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    You need to give them a script that does not involve mentioning any of the 3 things, gp,seo,ppc.They will not be able to handle it. What do all these 3 things have in common, getting more customers

    If you write a short decent script with a $20 offer to get people on first page of google, using the ad voucher, you will have more appointments than you can handle.


    You will just need to make sure that you have a gameplan. Do you want to close a deal on first call , besides the $20 , OR are you looking to just establish a relationship and build up a big pipeline.

    Not too bad an idea as you are paying someone a net of $5 to get you in front of a biz owner $25-$20, so from that perspective your cost is time.

    Thanks for your ideas Eddie! I came up with the $25 figure because most would love to make $100/day from him. Get me in front of 4 people a day and you made your $100. I want to upsell the people I am going to see. You made a good point by not using the b.s. jargon that we talk about. Biz owners just want CUSTOMERS!


    Any suggestions on a short and sweet script any stay at home mom could have success with?

    As for the leads to call, I have a membership for infofree.com. Do you think I should give them my login or just have them go through yellowpages, yp.com, and Google?

    Sorry cant help on the exact script, thats too much of a premium for me to just rattle off the top of my head right now.
    Im sure someone will chime in , but remember that whatever you have them say MUST align with your goals and what you are trying to accomplish on the visit.

    I can tell you from experience that when you are not the person setting the appt and the person setting the appt is raw or not that familiar with how you operate there will be a learning curve and you will need to TIGHTLY monitor and tweak how they are closing the appointment.

    I will also say that the less you have them search for info and such the better.
    Let them totally focus on making the calls. Personally I would prepare the list for them and make things as simple as possible.

    In my experience, I literally go to Google, search for a particular type of business that I want sell, such as "San Diego Attorney", and then go to about the third or fourth page. I then contact those sites directly.

    First, your appointment setters can email the site, and if there are questions from the contact, they can be forwarded to you without the worry of "what will the appointment setter say?"

    Second, you know they already have a site, and it doesn't rank too well for certain words.. so they might be better motivated to buy.

    I have given a script that many people have made good use of for this kind of thing, here.

    You can easily adapt it to your purposes.

    Hey Chris, I have emails to catch up tomorrow and Im working on a script for a person right at this very moment. Will PM you some ideas tomorrow, because we go back, and are like that, but after some consideration, I've decided to stop writing scripts on the threads here because people pay me to write custom scripts on the side sometimes...and so it seems unfair to them if I do it here.

    Yours is a no brainer though, just a heads up. Will pm.
