Speakers Bureau?

I know this doesn't meet all of your criteria, but be gentle.

Might I suggest asking some of your local business groups where they get their speakers (if they have guest speakers)?

Our local biz group usually pulls from group members for our weekly speakers, but they also pull from other sources.

Someone in your local area might be better at recommending a local source for speakers.

To me, this sounds like you are interested in hiring a speaker from the world of sports rather than the world of business (yes, I know sports are big business). If I am correct, these people don't belong to an org like the National Speaker Association.

You hire them by contacting their agent. Once upon a time I had a website that listed who represented who in the celebrity and sports genres. Don't now but no big deal. Look up the person's name and see who is listed as their agent.

Another way to contact these folks is to call their team's HQ and ask for their media dept. They can tell you almost everything you want to know. I did that w/the SF 49ers in the 80's. I would suspect their commitment to great fan relations hasn't diminished in the last 20 to 30 years.

Hi Shay,

Thanks for the reply. I live in a rural area and if I asked those people for a recommendation like that they'd think I was trying to overthrow the government or that I was a closeted homosexual. A speaker's bureau works for me.

  A big GIANT oops from me to him. Sorry blue apple, focus was out of adjustment making my azimuth a tad bit skewered. Thank God I didn't do any surveying while I was stationed at Cape Canaveral or was it Cape Kennedy back then. Either way, my bad.

Evidently working for a living has hampered your memory glands. Honestly, you need more cow bell in your life. If you want to get it here, I applaud you. Not many people would expose themselves in such a transparent way especially just to get more cow bell.
