What about THIS as your key to offline success?

Hi!

I'm glad to read from most folks that WF post count is not definitive, in terms of authority.

If I can help you make money in anyway, that's more important right?

I'm not new to offline marketing. I've kept clients since 2010 with have twenty two years in sales and service; and am committed to growing and helping others learn from my successes.

As offline marketers, we're real entrepreneurs yet 'Business Development' seems to be largely unknown within offline marketing circles.

My simple definition of Business Development is:

'Developing an authentic business for the best relationship to current and future clients.'

I just read a post by fellow Warrior 'IAmNameless' who states confidence is key and that he has 'Marketing Vision'. I couldn't agree more about confidence... and it seems the issue is not separate from 'Marketing Vision' to me.

May I ask what Business Development means to you?

Are you interested in how Business Development can increase your bottom line, as well as your personal happiness?

I'm finally able to contribute much more around this excellent forum. And if I can help you with any perspective at all, just let me know.

I'll look forward to meeting you!

Thank you,
Ryan

    My definition would be:

Developing products and service for your business that serve your customers best. Have multiple up-sells/cross-sells in the back end. Also means developing marketing strategy that uses consultative selling and provides value even in marketing of the product.

And everything Jay Abraham and Dan Kennedy advise about business growth..

    My Definition:

Business Development is "understanding" the essence of the PROCESS FROM its production which is easy, to the process of "MARKETING" them which perhaps if we "REACH" our target sales, we will use "the profits" to re invest on some other ventures while also with our success, we could help the others to succeed, and that also, we are willing to share our thoughts at some point

    cheers

Business development involves the 4Ps -- planning, prospecting, promising, and providing.

First, you must plan your medium for reaching your audience.
Second, you must take action and prospect.
Third, you must make a promise to the client that you know you'll be able to keep.
Fourth, you must provide the solution that you promised the client.

    Rinse. Repeat. :-)

      REALLY good answer.

Without each of the 4 being in place to at least some degree, I don't see a particular business being able to live.
