FREE Email Marketing Course - InfoUSA

How funny life works I just finished writing someone a response to an email lead gen question, and I check my own email a few minutes later, and there's an offer from InfoUSA for a free email marketing course. Thought I'd share it with you guys...

Quality Business & Consumer Sales for your Business with Salesgenie

I'm already a customer of theirs. However, just so you know, looks like you have to leave your personal info to get the free PDF. Or, just use some 'dummy' info

Thanks for this....here's a funny thing. A while back one of the many "stars" of the wso marketplace was offering a wso about this....wouldn't suprise me if all he did was repackage this.

Before you accuse me of rushing to judgment, he put on a webinar and it was based around info usa.

off topic but I had to respond to this because it reminded me of something. another warrior told me they watched a webinar where this well known marketer showed off a bunch of cleavage and told everyone they could walk in to businesses and charge them $500 if you draw out a mindmap for them.

David, I don't know WSO's from a hole in the wall. Never bought one. So, no judgement here if you were referencing me Wouldn't surprise me though if what you say is true. There's very little out there in the world that's "new under the sun." And even if it is, I don't think one is going to find it in a $12 WSO :p

Wasn't a reference to you in any way.

The problems that info usa had (at least a part of the problems) had to do with questionable contributions made to the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2008.

Hard to imagine the Clintons involved in anything questionable.

You are correct Mr. Gupta is a BIG financial backer of Bill Clinton. I believe (I could be wrong though) that he sidestepped certain fundraising caps for election limits.

I don't know about you, but, all of this Bill Clinton talk suddenly makes me crave a good cigar :p

Thanks for the information about infofree.com. I had been reading their page and was looking for feedback about their service from real customers rather than paying the outrages fees for infousa.

110% correct, Mr. Happy Tree Infofree is cheaper, has better customer service & more data.

Most probably don't know this, but, the President of Infofree - Vin Gupta - was also the founder of InfoUSA. However, I believe he had some legal trouble or the board of directors kicked him out.

He's really out to get infoUSA bad, I think that's why he's going crazy with the offer for inforee. I believe he took like 80% of their execs with them when he left too.

Haha, I know. When I first found the offer from Infofree, I remember thinking; "This is too good to be true. Unlimited monthly leads for $29.95. WOW!"

After researching them, I knew why the offer was good. They want to completely decimate InfoUSA

I'm pretty sure it was vin gupta spending the company's money on lavish gifts or something to the clinton's (who he was a friend of).

Funny to see InfoUsa mentioned here. They are going through some tough times. I actually used to work for their most successful.. well probably their only successful subsidiary OneSource.

I sold an information solution that resembled SalesGenie on steriods with basically a bunch of integrated RSS feeds, bringing in news on the individuals and companies in the database on a continuous basis... problem was it was 5k/yr for the first user and about 900 bucks a year for each additional user.

Suffice to say a tough sell against the super cheap options. I honestly doubt that infofree is any good though, regardless of my past experience. There's no shortage of CHEAP info sources out there.

I don't honestly know what InfoUsa is going to teach though... they are so old school I would be shocked if you learn anything useful.
