Asking for £3k - How many slides for a presentation?

Hi all

I will be pitching to a client who currently spends £4k on SEO. I will pitch for £3K.

I've never done a presentation for this amount of money so not sure how long my presentation should be. I'm very aware that is about the quality of the presentation and not quantity but I still need that balance.

My last presentation was 19 slides but I asked for £1.5K, he is now my client and is spending £700pm

Feedback welcome.

Best regards
Michael

    Hi Michael, IMO

    4-5 slides max

1 what their problem is (show keywords, analytics whatever you can to hel stir it and get them emotional)

2 How you can solve this issue for them , no tech speak, just raise in rankings, increase in visitors, better customer focussed keywords etc

3 How you have solved it for other businesses, show before and after rankign pages or whatevers available

4 What theyre return on investment would be to gain your most effective level of service

5 Order now call to action

Its what you say ,what you do, what you have done for others and how all of that is going to be of massive benefit to them , that will win it over lots of clicks through various pages of stats and pictures that dont really have a defining purpose othe than waste their valuable time

It could be a good idea to gather some information about your client if you can. For example, by going through the site of the client you can see how the information is presented there and eventually, extract some hints about making your presentation more suitable for the particular client.
