Any pro lead genners out there with some tips for this painting site

Hey guys,

So, I've built this site for a friend of mine and I get commission on all jobs generated from the website - www.kelownapainting.com

Do you think this site will do a satisfactory job generating leads? It's had a couple hits a day for the past month, mostly from Adwords, no leads yet..

I've noticed on another clients site that I set up, the "special offer" received 0 clicks while the site still generates leads.. I wonder if it's simply because of where the searcher is in the buying cycle, a special offer is more buyer focused rather then somebody just shopping for a quote.

Before I had an offer for "$50 Off Your Quoted Price"

Any advice is much appreciated.

    Instead of "Contact Us Below For Any General Inquiries" (weak, boring)

    Offer a FREE Report: "7 Questions You MUST Ask Before Hiring A House Painter!"

    People who opt in for something like that are going to be pretty good prospects.

    Then you can set up an autoresponder series to continue to drip valuable info and make offers.

    Then, when the prospect is ready to hire a painter, you'll be the leader in the clubhouse.

      Well aware of this method obviously being in the IM world. Never thought it would do much in the offline world for some reason.

    Boring I wouldnt call.
    Not very credible, where are the testimonials?
    I am also very skeptical of anyone who promises a discount on a quote as Im pretty sure they will always mark it up to basically null the discount.

    Eddie's right... testimonials would go a long way here. Testimonials on every page right by calls to action. And since I'm a video guy, I say if at all possible, get testimonials on video, as they're pretty powerful.
