Video Ranking Observation - Am I Crazy?

1. It seems like Sundays are when I see significant changes in my video rankings - like Google finally starts kickin' in - recognizing my link juice. This observation could be purely nothing more than timing and I'm posting videos during the week and weekends at all hours. It just seems like Sundays are when things get adjusted.

2. This second observation, I've just recently found within the last month. Sometimes I will optimize 2 videos the exact same way except just changing the city name (video length is slightly different though). Anyway, today I type in my niche + city kw phrase and BOTH cities show up ranked right after each other. The thing is they are in completely separate areas of the country. If big G is trying to serve up relevant local content (by IP address), then their algo is off on this one.

Am I crazy or has anyone else experience this?

    Are you saying that you have two different city names, showing up under one city name? If so that is strange. Double check again and make sure you aren't logged into your google account.

      Nope not logged in - BUT, I did figure out the problem. I cleared out my cookies and cache, and now it's back to normal!

      That was weird!

      No, not easier time to rank. I meant it "seems" as though that's when my videos take a jump. This is probably just coincidence though.

    refresh your browser and check again. It might be because you checked it 100000 times and google thinks that's what you're looking for?
