Does anyone offer SMS marketing services in Canada?

I heard it's really expensive here.

    I think Twilio also complete facilities, as well as affordable, in addition to SEND AND RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES you can also do MAKE AND RECEIVE phone calls, please try it .. hope you like it and can provide a solution for you

    i dont think sms marketing really took of in canada yet. if you find good methods then you can beat the market and get better results han everyone else

      Well yeah, Avid and Lime are both in Canada with their shortcode services -- I need a shortcode due to high volume of texts that are going to be sent out (longcodes can only support up to 600txts/hour) -- but their prices are considerably higher than those in US. This is due to the overpricing that the network providers here in Canada charge.

      Besides, I don't really like that longcodes are not officially supported by carriers, and it's not a solid foundation to build my clients' sms marketing campaigns on; shortcodes have always been used by big companies and are considered the most suitable practice for mobile marketing.

      By the way, how much in average does a shortcode cost to maintain, per month?

      I need to research on all the costs associated in having your own shortcode. It will be cost-effective when I'll have a huge volume of texting, which is what I'm aiming for. Does anyone know good resources where I could find all this information?
