Signs on the side of my car?

I never see this. Or have ever heard of it. I offer marketing/web design, like most of us do. But here's the thing. I've never seen one person in my area with a marketing/web design sign on the side of their vehicle. Should I do it? Can't hurt right?

If you really need affirmation to do it then

    YES DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may never get a call but then again its very inexpensive and 1 deal in your lifetime more than makes up for the price.

Make sure to put a call to action on it.

I'd do vinyl lettering instead of magnetic signs. Magnetic signs look cheap and unprofessional, plus people can steel them off your cars. I was actually just talking to my wife today about getting my car wrapped to promote my Web Design/SEO business. What would your signs say? What benefits would you list that would motivate people to call you?

I agree with PhilaPM. Get vinyl lettering done on your windows or something. Magnetic signs look cheap, and I can say that as someone that used them for my service businesses in the past. I don't know how many people steal them, but I do know that they can fly off at times (doh!). The vinyl just projects a better image, and after all, that is what you are trying to do for your clients, so do it for yourself.

Well yeah I don't see how it will hurt. I was just kind of wondering if anyone has seen any kind of results from them.

@PhilaPM I would need to put some more thought into my copy but I'd probably put something like: Learn How to Improve Your Business Online! Call ###

Maybe something like: Get a Website for Your Business Today! Call ###

If I had magnetic signs, I could split test lol.

What about a fancy custom QR code? It would be different and scream high tech. Probably have a call to action under it. Something like: "Snap a shot of this with your SmartPhone". Maybe a cute arrow pointing to the QR Code. Make your front license plate the "sign" with your website address across the back of your car.

Yes, I agree with the vinyl lettering.

The suggestions for a call to action should include your website, as well as a phone number.

People who are not ready to talk to you will visit a website. Your landing page video can convert them to call or opt-in to your list for more info.

Sounds like a great idea. I believe there are tax benefits if you do something like this also.
