Has anyone used eDirectory? Can you rate it?

Im trying to build a Yellow-page type directory and I found eDirectory, it is PHP based and while the front end isnt "good looking" I believe it can be fixed to fit my needs / YP.

Im looking for something that isnt based on Wordpress because i heard once directories get too big, wordpress starts to fail.

Is eDirectory easily scalable? Im planning to have 1000s of businesses signed up.

I looked at this a few months back but it was still in development stage and so did not have many of the great features that eDirectory had.

Does it have all the same features NOW?

What is the current price of this clone?

edirectory is great script but it is very expensive. You can check phpmydirectory script and there are many options in admin panel.

The design isnt very nice but you can customize it. I use phpmydirectory and i am very satisfied and the licence is very cheap around 100USD. Check my website sanitarywaremarket.com it is nice looking

I did for a while. Software was good really good.
I just didn't have the manpower to promote it.
    Tech was pretty good to.

I have eDirectory v9.8 (latest at time of writing) installed on my site. The launch have been slow but that is no fault of eDirectory.

As for the software, I love it and could not imagine using anything else. I looked around as I wanted to pay as little as possible. eDirectory is not cheap but you get so many features.
