Very interesting. I am an iPhone user for life and know a lot of other people that are as well (not for life, but are users).

Will this change SEO (a bit)?

    I'm assuming the boys over at Apple are going to make Siri interact-able with it, and force consumers to search for things through their App.

    And I'm going to take a guess and say that the only way you can optimise your apple map place, is if you have shown your loyalty to Apple over the years.

    All jokes aside do we really need another obstacle?

    Ugh..that would take away a big part of mobile browsers.. don't think it will impact SEO as you still need to have maps ready for Android and web...

    Also, if people are still able to download an app for Google Maps then it will still be used, just less..

    Apple is dumb. They need to come out with a complete package instead of feeding small trickets to its customers.

    Google is just gonna have a widget anyways, most apps that need a map feed into google maps anyways on the back end. If ppl need it they will find it and use it.
