As a Google Top Contributor I help people in the Places forum all day long and deal with all kinds of complaints due to bugs or especially due to not ranking high enough.

This has to be a 1st in the forum! A user COMPLAINING ABOUT BEING IN THE A SPOT!
She wants to be lower on the page.

My places listing is above the main group of listings?

People are SO funny! If she only knew how hard most people work to hit that precious A spot!

I have heard this same type thing before from people I have ranked or were trying to get their business to rank for websites.

They want to be "number 3 or 4" because they think that is where all the eyeballs land or some such nonsense.

Some people are going to b1tch no matter what.

  But I can see her point. She's talking about the display that splits the A listing sometimes up by itself.
