Do you manage Facebook updates for Clients?

If you manage Facebook updates for your clients, how do you go about it? Do you plan them out in advance or post them as needed (which seems pretty inefficient)?

Let's hear your thoughts/comments/ideas ...

Also, if you're willing to share, would love to hear how you structure your pricing.

You just simple manage the page.
    - Get likes
    - Update it with new offers from your clients business
    - Add in images and keep content fresh

Of course the owner of the business will have to supply you with the content you will need.

P1: Thanks for the reply, but maybe I wasn't clear enough. Obviously you do the things you mentioned. What I am asking is how do you structure it? Do you sit down with the client and create a calendar? Do you do a certain number of updates per week/month at a set price? Or, if you have to get the info from the client each time, wouldn't it be more efficient for them to just update the page themselves rather than send you the info and you then have to update the page?

      Anyone else have thoughts?

    Baib,

We do a set amount of updates each month. We talk to the client about what they want to achieve and create content that is relative - it's all pre planned.

All clients are managed through Hootsuite as that's easier for us to manage multiple clients, and messages are preset to go.

We charge $97/month for FB management.

Most of the cases there are target amount of update, likes etc with specific time frame. Moreover, if there is any update from the employer also need to be done. The new application of facebook launched today will be much helpful for this work.
