Creative T-Shirt Marketing

Now, my main concern is not to market myself using my t-shirts. It's just a really cool thought to have t-shirts floating around. But I also don't want to waste the opportunity to do something creative and smart.

I was going to do the colors like this

The front will be almost identical, but for the back I was thinking putting a QR code? Maybe on the sleeve perhaps. That seems like a really simple idea, yet I haven't seen it ever where I live.

But where should I send them? A video on youtube perhaps. How do I get them to want to scan it. As far as the public is concerned the mere fact of scanning might still be a novelty to them.

Any thoughts everyone?

    No one ever contemplated this?

You really think people are going to scan a strangers shirt? Forget about the QR code on the shirt. Just come up with a good call to action on the back.

Yeah that's a good point. I guess I was thinking for social events, or groupings. Ok, so I might put the QR code on the sleeve. That still leaves the back wide open. I don't want people feeling like they're walking billboards, so I don't just want to put a # on the back and say "call me".

If you have the tech to print the QR codes in full spec size without corruption then more power to you elbow.
You have the right idea for events.
In fact if you contact event companies directly with the proposition I know they will be interested.
Clients and event co-ordinators are striving for data capture and increasing consumer engagement and participation and the fact they good print onto clothing and make the market of their clients products/services more interactive could be a big sell.

We just happen to have a machine which can print those QR codes onto any garments.
Interested then do a Google search for event companies, get a pitch ready and then you're off to the races.
