I understand the need to remove spam to make your search engines a better place, but come on. The results are terrible now. I was exploring a few local niches around the country this morning and I noticed that they are way off.

Has poor search results affected you or your clients sites? Is SEO and offline marketing a viable options for times like these?

    I don't find any thing silly in this, Google wants to provide the most appropriate information to the user.

    The spammy websites were blocked in Google updates the reason was they were not providing any information to user and even they were just trying to rank on Google search results.

    Just think from a normal user point of view that what results you want if you want to get some information?

    I think, the person who have submitted that Pharmacy website in Google Places probably chosen a wrong category.
