Question for video gurus...

Can anyone tell me how this type of video is made? Is this just a simple software.. or a full fledged animation team? I'm good with Sony Vegas, but would like to do so much more. Where do you go to learn stuff like this?

    Hopefully someone will post soon and tell us.

    The video you posted does look generated (pre-made) with some software - all of the movements of the objects kind of look the same. So, what would be even better to know is how some of the even better videos are made (eg. the cartoonish ones from Google?).

    After getting fairly good with Windows Moviemaker, then Sony Vegas, then Powerpoint/Camtasia -- I look at these kind of creations and though simple, I'm in awe of their creativity and can't even begin to guess how they are done.

    Would really like to learn as well.

    It's made with some mad video skillz...don't see anything special than someone who is expert with creation/editing.

    I agree that it looks like it is generated by a software/template. It would be great to hear some recommendations for software that will do these type of videos. Someone on WF is bound to know.

    These are made via Adobe After Effects. There are many royalty free templates through which you can make any type of animated videos.

    However, check for some animation in Sony Vegas. I think you can obtain royalty free templates through your fav search engine. Check my signature for some samples.

    It could be After Effects, that is pretty well the standard for high end video effects etc. But it's very hard to master for busy IM people.

    This is an excellent program and drop dead easy to use, it might have been done with this or something similar.
