Selling Email Marketing

Do any of you have experience selling email marketing to clients, what do you offer? and how do you implement?

I have a client with an existing list of a couple of thousand emails and he wants to start an email campaign to send out a couple of emails a week.

I'm thinking of setting up an aweber list and sending broadcast once per week along with a follow up each week.

My issue is that they have already opted in by giving the email address and preferably I don't want to have them opt in again.

Ideas?

    Has he been actively sending emails to them now?

    How did he get the emails?

    Also I am not sure on awebber's current rules for transfering lists now but in the past I transfered them for the company I work for. If the list is good and the customers opted in it should be fine.

    They fill in a card that comes with their bill, they don't have them in any program at the moment just a spreadsheet. They also haven't sent them anything yet.

    For our clients, we are a constant contact reseller with a control console for our clients.

    We use CC for our clients because their business is offline. CC allows for easy spreadsheet uploads of business cards, rather than aweber double opt-in.
