How Should I Follow Up on 'Interested' Prosects

Hi all,

I am running a content writing business and have been doing alot of networking recently. Some people I meet are pretty interested in my writing services especially for their website's content. However, I do not know how I should follow up with them and close the deal.

Any good suggestions?

IMO you need to 'close' them more when youre face to face, gain an agreement that maybe youll supply an appraisal of their homepage and suggestions for improvement of the content , that you get to show them your speciality without them being able to copy paste it , whatever makes sense for the amount of time it will take and the potential returns , gain some sort of commitment from them while you're face to face to happily accept something like the above from you, so you're leading them further down the lead gen pathway towards becoming a fee paying monthly retainer customer

I agree with mjb. Close them on something that moves the action forward. I'll go over your homepage - then lets sit down and review my findings. I'll write a landing page - then lets sit down and review. It can even be unpaid work. But close on something. Then review it with them. And make sure your review includes next steps.

Exchange the number and email ids and mail them or call them just to have a normal talk and at the end ask them for you are having a requirement you told me before and then bingo.
