Getting Google+ Local Reviews (criteria)

Hi all, I have 2 question and am in need of some clarification for those doing online rep. management.

I started doing some online rep. management for a restaurant this month, and the changes to google places have caused some problems with his customers reviews sticking. We have a review site set up with links and instructions on how to review, but it seems that the reviews left just aren't showing up on G+ local or yelp.

Other than having a g+ account, does anyone know what criteria google is using to decide whether a review sticks, not?

Are there any criteria for Yelp as well?

Thanks in advance!

have any of the yelp reviews you have funneled through you gateway stuck?
With Google+ Local they are still transiting some stuff over and are still trying to scrub bad businesses and reviews. I have clients with 30+ reviews that now have none. Yes it's frustrating and yes it sucks but its a fact of IM. I have brought a few back with seed reviews. You need to be careful BSing reviews because google is looking for active google+ accounts that are not just one review ponies.

    God luck

With Yelp (and probably the same now with G+) if someone signs up fresh (to a Yelp account) leaves one review or a 1 line lame review, it will typically get filtered out.

They want active Yelpers who are actively leaving real reviews.

If that new Yelper continues leaving more and more reviews, the initial ones can become unfiltered. They are pretty smart at weeding out bad /fake reviews.

For ORM companies who are not having reviews created "artificially" (through the use of fake accounts or accounts with the sole intention of rating and not being active on G+), does there need to be any worry?

I just checked my city, which is a medium sized city, and only found two restaurants listed on Zagat within a 30 mile radius of the city.

      Confused.
