How To Get New Clients?

Hi fellow warriors

I am about to start trying to get offline clients and so everyday i am hitting 10 new prospects a day but have no strategy and don't have great skills in this area.

I was wondeing if anyone follows a system whether on the phone or face to face daily and what do you say to cold prospects to get them to say yes to your services?

Has anyone got experience at closing potential clients consistently offline?

Thanks

Mark

First off, your signature makes it seem like you know what you're doing in this area. Secondly, there are major improvements you can do to the squeeze page in the link.

Forget about flashy systems you might find. It all comes down to marketing. 10 prospects a day will not cut it. I know some things can be intimidating but you need to overcome the hesitation in order to succeed. Take baby steps. Utilize different marketing techniques.

Don't focus on making people say yes at first, focus on finding the people who really want your service. They'll basically sell themselves to you.

      Well said Iamnameless!!!

Cold calling is a GREAT way to get clients but you need to approach it with a plan. What are you going to say, and very rarely go in for the sale first up unless you have something solid (I usually do as I focus on lead gen)

You need to have a solid strategy in place when calling and if they are not interested in buying then remember to ask them if they want something for free eg: newsletter or a rank report etc somthing that doesn't cost you but gets them in your funnel

      Good luck

I totally agree! Cold calling is one of the best ways to get more leads and therefore more clients.

Looks like cold calling has a three-for-three along with my vote. Cold calling is one of the best ways to find new clients, however, you really need to have a plan.

If you don't know a lot about cold calling, I'd suggest you get in contact with a company that specializes in doing said task.

Cold Calling is the best way, but not the only option.

Depending on who you know, you can send out a quick e-mail blast to all your contacts on linkedin, facebook etc and let them know you're offering 10% commission on each referral they send you that buys. They'll literally become salesmen for your services..

You can also have some flyers printed up and leave them in your local starbucks, library, anywhere where business people congregate.. and you'll soon enough have desperate business owners keeping your phone ringing.

It's just like marketing a product, which is essentially what you're doing.

If more people actually know that you have these services on offer, naturally, you'll start to recieve higher quality leads that you are more likely to convert.

    Think outside the box!

    • Hey Mark

Set aside few hours each day and pick the best prospects you feel you would ;like to do business with. Then do some research on each business and get as much info as you can.Find out their pain and then connect with them. Tell them that you and only you can help them to solve their problems.

When you are talking with the prospect always remember that the prospect buy on emotions and impulse. Make sure you fire up those emotions to get them to want to buy tour service.

I don't think there's something like THE perfect way to get new clients but as it was suggested previously, thinking outside the box can benefit you greatly if done correctly.

    Here's a quick scenario...

While all my competition is busy trying to sell websites and spamming the heck out of every single e-mail published on local newspapers and magazines, I'm sending prospects a site that they can navigate on and even see some of their own details already in place.

Then I just say that if they like what they see there, I can offer them a better price than the published price on the sales page and that it works on a first come, first served basis.

For the clients that already have an online site, here are two magic sentences (I learned this from a video but I can't remember the guy's name):

"You're paying way too much" and "Your competition is getting all your clients".

Then I elaborate focusing on pain points instead of benefits.

So it's all about conducting yourself and being a bit different than the rest.
