Where/How do you get your Hot Leads?

Share where you get your hot leads from.... if you purchase them who do you recommend to buy them from? Or if you have a way to get hot leads please share

    I usually use the phone book, but it really depends on what kind of leads you are looking for otherwise...not enough info to go on to make a specific suggestion... Rus Sells gscraper is cool if you want to target real tightly, but if you are just dialing the "numbers" and targeting "fairly" tightly....there are a number of good resources. Some cost, others dont, some cost more than others... In general, you can barely fail with a phone book.As long as you are consistently dialing. Thats the MAIN key. Dont put the phone down, just dial straight from one number to the next.

      sorry for not specifying....mostly need people who are interested in a home business opportunity, and the second kind of people are people who are interested in traveling (discounted vacation packages)

    If you are interested in selling a business opportunity I would look in employment classified ad sections, many allow paid opportunities in certain sections, such as monster and others...and I would make the opportunity hungry leads come to ME...by putting up a sales page that leads to an application to qualify, which leads to a call back interview to make sure they qualify (thus the "take away" approach)...and then tell them "Hang on let me check if I still have a slot open, I'd like to give it to you if you want it and its still available. If I can get this slot for you do you want it?"

    I would classify it as a performance based opportunity, not a "business" opportunity in the copy. "Business Opp" has a bad ring these days... you can explain it when you get into the pitch but your ad copy is what counts...it needs to sound like a work opp, and if its a real biz opp then thats what it is.

    There needs to be urgency "only a few slots left, and I have to fill them. I have 50 applications, are you the one? If so we need to do it now...".

    And there needs to be a QUALIFICATION process, they have to jump through a hoop or two to be considered, that will make them want it more...because nobody wants to be a part of a club that would have them as a member. Then the opp will sell itself to your prospects who write in or fill an app.

      the business opp requires a membership, it's a one time $398 membership and with that the member can either save on vacation packages, or work from home. Would that interfere with the interview/application process?

    So its like "buy the product" and also have the opportunity to make commission selling it, or is it also a stand alone opp that can be taken advantage of without even buying the product?

    I get it that the product is a membership.

    But I dont get who you are targeting...or how you can target without knowing which of those 2 you are clearly pitching.

    The first rule of ANY KIND of sales, is that if you cant explain your product in clear terms...then you cant sell it, and so far its a bit confusing what you are selling here...I think you need to define it more for our sake or either that for the customers sake. People dont buy when scratching their heads.

    If the way its being explained to me is the way its explained "Kind of this but also kind of that..." it will be hard to sell. You have to be able to clearly define what it is.

    You sell a biz opp differently than you sell a product. If its not clear which one of the two angles you are trying to target, the first key is to clarify that\, or else half your prospects will be saying, "Mmmm......I dunno....I think I need to process this a bit more...", and they wont close.

    You may already have clarity, but for the sake of giving advice "we" may need a bit more.

    In any event, opps are better sold through call ins, and so are timeshare properties and those types of things...

    Generate your own leads through voice broadcasting, all you need is a solid message. This works well now with B2B since the laws have changed for residential campaigns.

    I picked up a client today who is selling a product which is basically MLM in structure, but the actual product is legit. You pay XX to get the service and then become a distributor when you do that.. at that point... you can refer other people, and you get paid when they sign up.

    The commission structure is excellent, and it seems to convert well, but I am wondering the best way to set up the lead funnel. I will be using primarily video marketing and other local tactics, but this is not something that would appeal to B2B... so cold calling/VB is out I think.

    BTW to answer the OP's question... I get my hot leads from cold calling or from CL.

    I used to sell timeshare leads and the way I used to get them is by hitting the pavement. I would set up boxes in local shops that offer a prize. I would also do carnivals and fairs. I did pretty well. I moved and would like to make some new contacts. Does anybody have any advice as to how t find a buyer and what information they would need to purchase?
