I'm not sure how i should approach this i.e.. price and any other help would be wonderful!

So i have a Client in Toronto who pays me for keyword research.... And is so impressed with what I gave him that he said:

"I'd like to talk to you about some type of ongoing support/coaching re: KW research, at mutually a mutually agreed rate."

He also said:

"Yes, I am a Real Estate broker in Toronto. Personally I do no selling at all. My job is to support my partner with leads and all marketing aspects of her business."

This Guy doesn't know Much: I already had to explain to him where he should put his keywords in his videos and how many he should use. basic stuff...

If i didn't already mention, he came to me for Keyword Research because he was thinking of putting out several Videos. He's older and i think now he realizes if he wants to generate leads, then he needs to be online. Well DUH lol

------> I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to land some sort of MONTHLY DEAL with this guy..... ANY Suggestions??? I'm not sure how i should approach this i.e.. price and any other help would be wonderful! Thanks Guys

Hey Jimmy, very cool, I'm from Toronto too

Hmm..well if he's looking to do videos..how about doing this for him and optimizing them for certain keywords to get some rankings on search engines as well?

This way, you can charge more than just "monthly keyword research" and you're offering greater value (and saving him valuable time by not having to create/upload/optimize/rank the videos).

For pricing..ask what this guys budget is for something like this..? Also, keep in mind, if it's for leads for real estate (especially in Toronto where right now the market is kinda dipping so leads are highly valued), you should price accordingly.

Most agents make around 2.5% per deal so if the value of a home (a lead that you helped to send over) is $400,000 which is I think about the norm here in Toronto (it's actually on the lower end), then that's $10,000 commission for the agent (of course minus their brokerage and other fees). So price yourself accordingly because these are high value deals and leads that you're helping to send to this client.

Another recommendation: definitely get him on board for a 6 or 12 month package. Don't do month to month (as I did when I started off). Too much volatility and it's easier to focus in your efforts on clients who you know will be around for a while.

    Hope this helps!

Lastly, great job on knocking his socks off with great service!

    Jimmy,

Depending on how far you wish to take this, I would personally suggest giving him a good rate and doing your absolute best. That way when you expand, you have a wonderful reference client with good results to showcase your work.
