RANKING VIDEOS FOR CLIENTS - Non Payment

Hi!
Im working on getting my clients first page results on Google through video. What I want to know is if for some reason, they dont pay, how can I market that property to someone else?
If I put the clients info In the actual video, then I cant market to someone else - So should I just put their info in the description area? If so, If I change the description to put a new business there, will it affect the rankings?

Thanks!

I'd suggest not placing the clients info within the video.

You can optimize the video via description, tags and titles. Place the clients info in the description and add annotations with the clients info. If the client stops paying, remove the contact info & the annotations.

Once you secure a new client, add in their info.

Something else to think about is acquiring your own phone number that redirects to the client and using it in the video to allow for a call to action as part of the video. Client cancels, transfer the number to the next client.

Great advice tigerbait. You can get a number from twilio for a buck a month and if the customers asks just say it is for tracking purposes.

More importantly why is the client not paying. Have you tried to figure out what's going on?

I think the OP was asking "What If" the biz owner does not pay, she want a plan B just in case.

If you haven't had this happpen, you will. The client wants to know why their information isn't in the video itself. If you have the raw video, you can always delete their video and then upload it with the different contact information.

Aren't your videos about them? Aren't they mentioned in the videos by voice or photos? Maybe them talking into the camera?

I don't see the huge value in videos that are so generic that they could apply to anyone in a niche. At least I couldn't see charging much for them.

I tried the "generic industry video with contact information in the description" idea. Some didn't notice, but some did, and rightly so.

I've had a few clients cancel. And their videos had page rank. I delete them. It's cheap.
