Hi, just stumbled upon an article on the WEB - Google Ranking Factors U.S. 2012 | Searchmetrics

Now, look at this graph from inside the article - http://www.searchmetrics.com/media//...i_1_medium.jpg

Does it means Social is that important??? If so, I am going to "share on Facebook" right away. LOL

I do rental sites and I am at the middle of Local and Organic SEO. This has to be a big point if it is really true.

    Red Flag: Why would Google place so much importance for how well their software functions based on someone elses software....which they can't control any aspect of...not it positive benefits...and certainly not that softwares vulnerability to get abused by IMer's.

    Somehow me thinks this graph means something else.

    Interesting stats. There have a been a few WSO's recently touting the importance of social in ranking and its a trend we've noticed for a while. Im still not sure if its the most important ranking factor though.
